You got the first part right. Second is wrong.

First is peak of the series. It's no where but down after that because 2-on becomes action-shooters with little to no breaks.

The original game is better than the remake, it has a more oppressive atmosphere since Isaac doesn't speak. I also prefer how the "levels" were segmented via use of the train.
