I tried playing P3 a year or so back, it was boring crap, is this any better or do you still have to do the whole visual novel sim of chores and building relationships?Can you actually just play the game?

Unless you just don't like the social sim at all, in which case you probably shouldn't be playing these games in the first place. P3's biggest issue is that you're doing jack fucking shit story-wise for 80% of the game, and the story doesn't get good until the final months, which is what everyone glazes the game over. P4 maintains its stream throughout the entire game but its ending is nowhere near as powerful as P3's.
