It's the fact that the loop is this:>beat the levels to get coins>spend coins in minigames to get tokens>spend tokens to help beat bosses>bosses are timed and if you wait until the last minute to beat them you already locked yourself out of the ending and the bosses have all this bullshit to waste your time and healthEven if that last part wasn't a problem, the bottleneck is the minigames.>baseball game where it's basically random if you can hit it or they decide to fuck you over>face matching memory game>that game when the Internet's off

I hated the collectables that only unlocked during the H-HURRY UP sections that you're just supposed to know were unlocked before wasting your time having to go back through it again. And I honestly didn't like that HURRY UP gimmick of running through the level backwards that much.
