What's an acceptable loading time in 2026?
>>740281152Loading?
so that's how they got it running on switch 2 no environment textures and low geometry
>>740281152fisher price tablet
>>74028115230-90 seconds max.
Left looks like how I used to have to play Skyrim on my shitty laptop 15 years ago using mods to turn it into an n64 game
There are giant, open world games nowadays that at most take 2 seconds with their loading screens on modern systems. Anything other than that seems to be lazy dev optimization. The worst I've encountered is Crimson Desert on PC installed to my nice NVMe drive. That shit was 40+ seconds long. Those are some abysmal textures on Switch 2 version by the way.
>>740281305no...fisher price tablet 2
and here i thought rebirth had shitty textures already, i apologize
You forgot those slide through small gaps or climb the yellow paint areas, those are hidden load times too.
thread reeks of samefag
>>740281152>8yo hardware handheld 2 vs current home consoleit's ok, stupid comparision anyway
>>740281305Fisher Price makes solid, dependable products. Switch 2 is electronic waste.
>>740281152this is the price you pay for no longer having a rreal home console: you play the worst versions of last-gen games and you’re completely cut off from all the best third-party titles for the next 8–10 years. It’s the Game Boy 3.0
>>740281247>>740281352>>740281583Not that it matters but this is what it looks like fully loaded.
Still buying Rebirth for the Switch 2
It's okay when it's nintendo
>>740283641At some point, shouldn't they just make the loading screen persist until the game has graphics? I know nobody likes loading screens but you're going to wait until shit's loaded in anyway, c'mon
>>740283641So, just like the PS5. Snoys take the L.
>>740283641>>740281152>Not that it matters but this is what it looks like fully loaded. This is a Jimbo troll thread, anon. He is angry, because the Switch 2 version is performing so well and the port is getting a lot of praise.
>>740281378>The worst I've encountered is Crimson Desert on PC installed to my nice NVMe drive. That shit was 40+ seconds long.Heh, it was fallout 4 back then, because people are still using hdd and there's only a handful amount of pc players that are using ssd around that time
