Are there any games with choices that matter, and I do mean you choices mattering in the endI'm not talking about shit like>follow this exact path or the quest ends early>all the dialogue is flavor except for this exact one>none of the decisions you made matter until the very end>you can kill quest givers, but it's not going to be replaced with an evil path quest, you don't get to do itMaybe I should've specified that I'm asking for games with a proper, and real evil path, with choices affecting that path
I know this is not what you are asking but Elden Ring locks you out of questlines and bosses for the entire run, that kinda affects me.
>>740281534Detroit Become Human. Enjoy the super gay preachy civil rights shit.
>>740281836Honestly, DBH should be the gold standards for telltale "games" with the amount of choices you have in the story. It's still a railroad, but the fact that you can end campaigns that early is worth a golf clap at leastGame is still shit though. It's not even a game. It's a cutscene simulator with a lot of QTEs
>>740282082Reminds me of Until Dawn as well. Every character can die. Two of them can only die at the very end, but they can.
>>740281534Starfox 64 changes your entire playthrough depending on if you succeed at certain goals during your missions. You can do two playthroughs and the only content you repeat is most of the first mission, and there'll still be stuff you haven't seen.
Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy for the burgeroids). The story got really retarded as it progressed but it was part of the charm for me and as I remember the choices drastically altered the storyline.
>>740281534>>none of the decisions you made matter until the very endthis is what pissed me off about infamous, i played the entire game as good but when i chose evil for the last main story decision it overwrote all my past choicesit also overwrote my save so i just quit playing
>>740281534Witcher 2, the Iorveth/Roche decision in particular in massive.
>>740281534front mission 3.
>>740281534>Bioware quest design

>>740294374One allows you to mod games without having to jump through insane hoops.
>>740294374>CopilotSAAAAAAAAAAAR
>>740294532>b-b-but I need to make my characters tits big in my gamesnobody cares about your fetish
>>740294532I'll let you on a little secretIf you need to mod a game in order for it to be good, then it was never good to begin with
>>740287806It was genuinely a rather daring choice to make it so that something like 40% of the game is entirely different depending on what you choose.
>>740294532One allows you to just play games without having to jump through insane hoops.
>>740281534>Examine a knife in your inventory too many times>Player character becomes an hero
>>740281534You can clearly see in front of you. Why not put it behind a corner at least?
>>740294589Gameplay mods you retard.>>740294598>>740294645My modded games are way better than your AAA slop.
>>740294729Cows can’t read.
>>740294745it's funny how even a mention of a console turns you in a raging faggot
>>740281534CYOA text based games. Some of them are real old though and tedious to play because they let you type in anything with no guidance.
>>740294745When did I even bring up AAA games?
>>740294816He owns AMD and needs to defend his poor purchases to feel good about it.
>>740281534I'll probably be flayed alive for this but Undertale unironically.Kotor 1 and 2 have a bunch of quests/dialogue that you can be a dickhead in, ending in 2 is pretty optional though.Postal 2: Paradise Lost, if you do a pacifist (good) playthrough, you have to play the game differently since it's built to severely inconvenience you without killing, and it changes some bits of the ending. I'd almost say base game is the same kind of thing but the ending is no different.
op never played thief or deus ex
>>740295343I played Deus Ex but not Thief
>>740287806eh, the dragon will still attack, the sorceres will still be killed and you still have to fight the viper witcherthe detours of chapter 2 is nice, but the end result is still the same, was the final armour piece dependent on which side you choose?
>deus exthere's still only three endings and you can choose any one in the final level.the good thing is the various ways you could kill navarre and herman, optionally save paul, and kill manderley.
>>740296505>the good thing is the various ways you could kill navarre and herman, optionally save paul, and kill manderley.yeah thief has stuff like that all over the place too
