Mongus kept it simple and that's why it works. You actually deduce shit yourself using your own intuition (player movement, task completion, etc.) Traditional mafiawolves need classes because they don't have the same kind of player agency.

Combining the two just overly complicates things. Also adds in more avenues of creating a "solvable" game where one side can always win.
