i cant get this to run in 4k. its stuck at 1080p the option for 4 doesnt even show up. i can run it in 4k on my shitty 2017 gaming laptop fine but not this. im running a cracked version so special k fixes dont work. editing the ini file and scaling does nothing. its not a hardware issue.

Low settings are genuine garbage most of the time, you can lower the settings to the point that you can count the pixels and it'll still run worse than an AAA game from 10 years ago on medium-high settings because it's still rendering shit that it really shouldn't. Maybe it's the models still having a billion polygons. Maybe the game has forced raytracing or otherwise a shoddy performance-draining light system. Maybe there's a million environmental models even on low settings and they don't go away. Low settings should be the "I don't give a fuck how the game looks, let me play it" settings.

PCs just aren't fast enough to keep up with a modern system like a PS5
games are made first with PS5 in mind that's why they stutter on PC
the SSDs are just too slow as well as the I/O throughout
you can't just load everything into RAM you'd need like a terabyte of it or something to keep up with PS5
