Why did this became a franchise after GoW3, dragging Kratos around?
And if they have to, why not write a story based in every mythology thats based around the god of war of THAT mythology?
So stupid. They kinda brainwash games into thinking a videogame franchise has to be around the same fucking characters over and over again. It is happening with Resident evil and now it happens with God of war.

Because Kratos of the original trilogy was a cool character, an amusing wrecking ball of rage that only existed to pulverize everyone and everything that ever done him wrong. If we got that same Kratos laying waste to the Norse gods, there would be no complaints but instead we got a watered down boring cuck version of Kratos dragging around a son because having an older male figure with a younger child companion was all the rage back during that time.
