And the only reason people still cherish it is because of its versatility as a Source engine template for sandbox toolsets like Gmod or full conversion mods.
>>740305820It was ahead of its time in its day and outdated now. The impact keeps it relevant but it is less fun than HL1.
>>740305820>>740305962post ur favorite fps
>>740305962Due to the novelty of its gravity gun and seesaw puzzles. Otherwise the gunplay was subpar and e weapon/enemy variety was limited compared yo its predecessor.
HL2 was a glorified tech demo for real games like TF2 and portal
>>740305820Yes, child, you did.No, child, it is not, these are your delusions speaking.Enjoy prison.
>>740305820Somewhat, yes. I liked Half Life 1 a bit more but Half Life 2 is still a great game.
>>740305820lol half life 1 is better and the guns arent as good as they could be but its so funnice b8 try it with mmod lmao
>>740305820Maybe, but I can't relate to that. I've never had even the slightest bit of interest in Gmod or whatever and I think those portion of the Valve fanbase is cringe incarnate. The best things related to Valve are their actual games and if I had to make a tier list I would probably put Half-Life 2 on it. I enjoyed the game a lot but I've never cared about whether HL3 was coming or not and I don't understand people who say the story is good. It's just a neat game, because of the engine. The best part of Half-Life games is sneaking around with six guns that all over three bullets and portioning them out to pick people off.
>>740305962It was only a Havok physics showcase. It really isn't that impressive (just like HL1) when you play other shooters.
