When I was a kid and playing the Ben 10 Alien Force ps2 game, there was a part in some sort of Area 51 facility where as Gwen you basically had to play a simon says game. For some reason my 10yo retarded self took like half an hour to figure out it was a simon says "puzzle". It's even weirder considering I wasn't really that bad at puzzles as a kid. It really was a stroke of retardation.

I was able to beat Ocarina of Time without the fire or water tunics because I was too young and retarded to know how to get them. I would catch as many fairies as possible then I'd go to the fire/water temple and do as much progress as I could until I died, in which case I would repeat the process.

>>740305984When I was playing a Yugioh Tag Force game and I used Super Polymerization (I think?) to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero The Shining", the game would say "Elemental Hero the Shining has missed the timing to activate it's effect!". I had no idea what that meant. I was extremely fucking confused and I thought I needed to click something faster to have it activate the effect to add 2 monsters back to my hand. The "missing the timing" message would just randomly appear and I never figured out why.Years later I realized that the way Yugioh chains work is fucking retarded and "when... you can" effects should never have been invented in the first place.
This moment from Rayman 3 gave me a lot of trouble as a kid since I didn't knew I could strafe (pressing Ctrl on PC) even despite it saying what I should do in plain text. I actually told my dad who bought this game with me that this is a corrupted game and we should go back and demand a refund.
