>>740311984There are 2 enemies that use that have those big fuck you hammers in a balcony overlooking the area where you fight those weak droids or whatever they are (it has been a while since I played it) before you drop down into the boss arena.Pull those 2 enemies down and then drop down with them. They'll start fighting the boss.They should take out a decent chunk of the boss' health and you'll have to finish it off.I remember the boss being absolute bullshit with it barely giving you any openings and being able to one shot you from full HP with the tongue attack.Good luck, anon!

After a certain point I became very frustrated with the combat controls and responsiveness so I just turned the difficulty down to journalist and enjoyed the game from there. No regrets.
>>740311984There is literally and unironically no advice you can give besides learn his patterns. I recommend claw gripping the controller so you can have a finger on dodge and jump at the same time, it makes it more forgiving.
Okay OP here I finally managed to beat him after 5 hours of struggle and I got good RNG with the 2 brutes taking more than half of his health.I know cheesing sucks but I was frustrated.Also got lucky that he didn’t do his shitty charge attack in the end. Fuck that move.

I haven't gotten to this guy yet, just got to Rick the Door Technician. I remember with the Oggdo fight in the first game, the best thing to do was to dodge-roll diagonally towards the frog when it charged at you.First Rancor fight in that cave right near the main village was probably the hardest fight I've done so far, even when throwing bones into its mouth. Harder than Rayvis. I didn't even fight the Rancor in Phon'Qi caves, just ran past and ended up fighting all 3 of the dudes at the same time. I've heard that there's a double Rancor fight in one of the soul tears, I'm probably just gonna ignore that tbqh.

really not a fan of grandmaster difficulty in this game, it's piss easy for like an hour and a half straight then you hit a complete roadblock. how hard is the hammer guy (with two phases) after you get the grappling upgrade, compared to the rest of the game? might just ragequit idk. grandmaster on the prev game felt okay this just feels tedious
