Be honest with me, can you have fun in fighting games without practicing in lab like a rat?
You know, like in a racing game you can have fun without memorizing a track.
Or is the playerbase in fighting games not big enough to match you with similarly skilled opponents?
>>
I have fun without going into training mode only because the only person and I play with is my friend, and likewise for him. We are both equally skilled and grow better together. If one of us autistically labs out option selects and frame traps, it'll be a worse experience for both of us.

Yeah you're a special case, it wouldn't apply to me as I am friendless
>>
You need a training bro to spend hours with in the lab no homo but bonding and growing together with another fighting spirit is the only way to truly become strong unless you're actually autistic enough to learn every character and record setups.

When you are your bro find some sauce you're supposed to lab with them and teach them how to beat it.

labbing is genuinely fun

Yes. Tons of people play them the same way they play shooters or other genres and just pick up whatever game is new and enjoying it for a couple weeks until the next game comes out. The big games don't make millions of sales because there're millions of sweaty competitive players, most of the audience is casuals.
