you know every "dpad" has been basically the same for all time right? every purpose built "dpad" has been 1 button over a membrane. nes snes n64 gamecube ps1 ps2 ps3 xbox xbox 360 sega genesis. they are all the exact same design. membrane with 1 big directional cross button. if you want a "good dpad" you need a 4 individual button dpad, which nobody makes due to the cost. its much easier and cheaper to make 1 big button over a membrane than making 4 buttons over 4 membranes.
My 360 controller is starting to get stick drift, rest in rip. I don't know what to buy as a replacement.
I can't imagine a time I would ever want a 4 button d-pad over either a 1 button d-pad, or a leverless or keyboard. It's the worst of both worlds.

Once I've DONE THAT, THOUGH, it's a great controller and I didn't need to make any other alterations.>>740321538If you're not already a power user of the trackpads on a Steam Deck, or they don't interest you, I'd probably skip it and get an 8bitdo Pro 3 or get a Dualsense and a charging dock. (Of the two the Pro 3 is the better buy, sad to say)
