I actually really enjoy these types of Korok puzzles. There's so many cool auto builds you get in the depths that are functionally old school dungeon items, and you get to bust those bad boys out and just tool around solving these. Tears of the Kingdom does not get enough credit for the great strives it took marrying new school and old school design.

I love puzzles, but those are a waste of time, some temples are cool tho.

You dont have to do them, so I don't see it as a waste of time. It's a fun diversion while exploring and gives an excuse to use auto builds. A sick new feature unique to this Zelda game.

One of the few Zelda games where solving puzzles felt fun, and each puzzle clearly had an intended solution you could ignore to experiment if you so chose. No idea why people said it had lazy puzzle design when its puzzles were far more intelligent than other Zelda games.

I might be wrong about this, but I think people took issue with the length of puzzles mostly. There were some really cool puzzles I solved playing the game, and I always had this hunch that there was going to be one more hurdle, a boss fight with a talos at the end of a cavern puzzle, only for it to simply be the end of the challenge right there. Still, was a cool puzzle.

korok puzzles in TOTK could be fun IF they were not a test of how much zonaite and orbs you have to instabuild whatever "intended" vehicle you need to efficiently solve it. Which is why 99% of the time it's better to just carry it with ultrahand.

It's "great strides" you inbred chimp.

>and old school design.
what the fuck are you talking about?

anyway I agree overall, totk is the only zelda game Ive enjoyed for more than the length of an hour or two

??? you do not HAVE to use them, MOST people don't, but you CAN and that's old school design that LOTS of people claim to want

I meant getting a dungeon item you use to solve puzzles, linear and formulaic fashion. Totk can appeal to those people if they so desire.

lacks the appeal of a non-Ubisoft open world, retard

I skipped every single one of these. I fuckign hate the building mechanic. Its just not fun.
And carrying the korok manually is very annoying.
