I learned that you can 'reroll' your starter monster many times to get a perfected version with higher stats. This killed the game because I instead spent hundreds of game reloads trying to get a perfect starter instead of actually playing the game.
I did something similar with a game called Inquisitor that gave you a random item early on but you could reroll the reward over and over to get what you wanted.

On their subr*ddit they got significantly more upvotes on their pride month post than they do their announcements. Even their fans don't give a shit anymore, they just wanna circlejerk.

i played this game when it was just a demo, i thought the energy mechanic and even the moves-exclusive typings were a neat mechanic, but the designs almost always looked boring as fuck
