>>740324272The Johnny chip in V's head gave him a split personality meaning that cyberpsychosis could not take hold no matter how chromed he got. In a sense much like Adam Smasher who was a psychopath and not affected by his loss of humanity because he had none, except in V's case the addition of Johnny's mind and soul meant he now had too much humanity to lose his too something so trivial as implants.
By the end or even the midpoint of the show, David is packing way more cyberware than V can ingame. I see this discourse a lot but by the time David was truly degrading into cyberpsychosis he was decked the fuck out with shit you can't even feasibly access ingame because all your ingame mods keep you largely human with the same body type.When he just had the sandevistan he was mostly fine.
