the idea of strategy games is stupid. every game requires quick thinking and strategy. almost any game can be out-thought if you're not the best at aiming, reaction times, etc. a shmup with 100 projectiles flying around your screen with different trajectories or paths is way more mentally stimulating compared to looking at a map and going hmmm I think I'll get the woodworking skill so I can make wood armor so my army wins more dice rolls! like come on bro
