Gone and forgotten.
FUCK TOPO I HATE THAT BITCH
>>740360085Honestly, that is for the best, 1 is a certified hood classic and my fave game of all time, the sequel... damn, it has EVERYTHING for me to love it but it's just not the same, mainly, I didn't like the radical change in OST direction and how linear it is.I would like a modern re-release, at least, for both BFM and Einhander, fucking crime SQUEX won't ass to port them to current consoles.
>>740362140that's certainly one game to have as your favoriteI played it and thought it was alright but pretty difficult and a bit bullshit at timessometimes I didn't have any fucking clue how to progress and got lost for a whileI really appreciated how charming it was and the saturday morning cartoon voice actingI thought it was good enough to the point where I'd replay it with a better grasp of the mechanics and how the world works, but I'd probably have to read about it to refresh my memory
>>7403600852 was so bad...so fucking badwhy was ps2 such a dark age of jrpg? the entire genre just died there
>>740362140based opinion and completely agreed. sometimes it's better to let something have it's time and that's that. much better than seeing in dug up and creatively raped by hacks like so many other beloved IPs have experienced.
>>740360085I played the first one like two weeks ago and it made me remember how older games would just be obtuse for no reason. Having a sleep/tiredness meter, stores and health increasing animals being open at certain times of the day, he has to slide every time before stopping so the platforming sucks and then the bullshit sequences like the river rafting, trolly zipline and fixing the steam tree (twice). Thank goodness I had save states for some of these parts or I would have run out of patience doing them over and over. That being said the game has a lot of charm with its music, voice acting and the gameplay in general is fine. It was a great example of a fantasy adventure that you don't know what you're getting yourself into next and I did love it for that.
>>740360085Square was experimenting with many new games at that time. Many of them were very good. Musashi was not one of those.
