If I made a game trailer I would do everything in my power to hide the farming/crafting/deck building/roguelite mechanics. Is that dishonest of me?

yes, and it'd be stupid. if you bait and switch people that's how you get negative reviews and people refunding your game. there are tons of people who love slop and would be interested in your game if you properly advertised it. if you're worried that those elements look boring, then that's a separate issue. either try and make it look interesting in the trailer, or maybe it's genuinely boring and needs to be reworked
also if you're talking about a game that has all of those elements, you wouldn't have to show crafting for example, but not showing the deckbuilding and rng would be dishonest and would also backfire

...but what about the people who like farming/crafting/deck building/roguelite?

You could just... not make a shitty game.
