PROJECT LEAD: ROBIN WALKER
DEVELOPMENT TIME: 2019-2026

RELEASE DATE: SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER 2026

The original trailer date of November 18 was real and was meant to correlate to the November announcement of the Steam Hardware, but things unfortunately where forced to change as the situation surrounding the attainment of the parts needed to produce the Steam Hardware became difficult and uncertain.

Do not expect the Steam Machine to be correlated with Half-Life 3 any more although a correlated release was originally the plan.

Valve understands that the prices that they have reached on the Steam Frame and Steam Machine are at a price point that is not at all desirable nor affordable by most of their customers, and advertising Half-Life 3 as a launch product with luxury priced hardware would simply not be a good look and might even send out the wrong message.

Also, as a result of the prices and the outcry that will certainly happen upon seeing those prices expect the hardware to be released as quietly as Valve possibly can release them on their soon to be announced dates.

Valve's main focus for the rest of this year will mostly be on Half-Life 3 as they are truly confident in the success it will bring.
