>Total War fans throw a riot because Creative Assembly tried to sell them a $25 DLC that only had three new faction campaings with three new Legendary Lords, one new lord type, two new hero types and ten new unit types with nine Regiment of Renown variants.
>WoW faggots gladly pay $25 for a fucking sparkle horse and it outsells Wings of Liberty

The same people who go on about how MTX, DLC, lootboxes and other practices are destroying gaming likely bought one of these or both.

Back when the horse first came out (during WotLK), people fucking hated it. The people that bought the horse were regularly spit on and add-ons were made to blacklist any character using the horse. This all quickly went away once the player base started cratering after Wrath and Blizzard kept adding more mounts.

Minor correction: those are not Total War fans, those are Warhammer fans as they would never touch a single historical Total War game.

Blizzard later removed the targeted /spit emote after ANOTHER premium mount debacle.
