Super Yooka-Laylee Kart is a thing.

Why does everyone want these retro style.kart racers? Super Mario Kart was only built this way out of limitations, it is obvious why moved to 3D as soon as possible and even the Mario Kart fanbase vastly prefers 64 to the original.

So why try and make games like this? The same thing is here with Dr. Robotnik Ring Racers.

Looks like shit would be good if no one ever posts about this game ever again

This is actually super dope. I like they have a unique identity, it's a highly customizable 8 player local splitscreen deep singleplayer campaign minimal ui throwback to SNES Mario Kart.

After this sells well we will get Diddy Kong Racing successor Yookart-Laylee.

There's a unique charm to the mode 7 racers that's lost in the fully 3D entries. Maybe people who didn't grow up with the SNES don't get it

I hate Super Mario Kart and Super Circuit so this is a nightmare game for me personally.
