So Suicide Squad was a game about DC's parallel universes and Brainiac from the comics basically cloned himself to assert complete dominance in every universe for that purpose. Brainiac only captured and cloned the "standard" villains/heroes and you had to kill that universe's Brainiac to release them (basically the endgame of the game after the ending, so you go around freeing batman, the flash, etc). Every freed universe added some freak/failure villain like that from that universe as a playable character into the roster and this was literally angsty cringe teenager joker. Like it's not even a joke, in his parallel universe he was a complete failure as the joker (as are the rest of the playable characters) and is supposed to be like a fortnite kid. They added a whole bunch of them, like a failed mrs freeze. Old as fuck and brittle boned deathstroke. etc.

imo the worst kind of cringe comes from when a piece of media keeps trying to be funny and it never makes you laugh once.Some cringe can end up circling around and make you laugh, like witnessing an awkward moment, but failed humor just pisses you off more and more until you drop an otherwise fun game because everyone is so fucking unfunny and you want to punch the writers in the face.
