And to add to that point, you can win even if you only fought 3 elites the whole run. I literally rest and rest and rest and rest because I kept getting fucked up bullshit chip damage fights with no first turn block. Probably upgraded only 2 or 3 times the whole fucking run. No fucking scaling. I was gonna scream because I wasted my fucking time again. And then Act 3 comes. APO. to finally upgrade all my shit so it can actually function. And then the event that lets you pick cards from other characters that miraculously synergize with everything you've been dying to get online. And then you kill Aeonigger without taking any damage.tl;dr - it really do be like that sometimes
