drawing is impossible if you didn't doodle as a child, everyone forgets about that, I ask every artist i find and they all say the same, "oh anyone can draw", but i ask them if they doodled in class as a child and they all say "well of course". if you didn't do that fundamental skill building when you were young it is nigh impossible to learn as an adult starting from absolute zero. and makes it really infuriating when people say the solution is "just draw"- like asking someone who's lived in China and spoke only mandarin their whole life to get better at Greek by "just speaking Greek"

At first glance it may look like a tactical RPG but the tactical part doesn't last very much, Disgaea is all about that number autism and grinding, there's so much shit to grind in multiple forms like going into a dungeon just to raise the stats of a single equipment, leveling up your character then resetting it to lvl 1 just so each level up raises more stats and rinse and repeat, it's a great time if you have the time and autism to spare and the story is fun too unless you're playing 5, that story sucks
