For photography the human factor and biased POV behind the shot is still a major factor of differentiation, and cars are mostly built for utility rather than pointless contemplation. I find it's important for the human elements to remain even if games are ultimately products at the end of the day. I play indie stuff to try and get away as much as possible from market pressures dictating the direction of the artistic assets used to make them. In my eyes, AI is only useful when you want to cut corners or compromise for productive tasks, not so much for artistic output.

It plays like a modern RE game: Limited inv space, backtracking to get keycards, it even has a monster chasing you (prob only for scripted section of the game). It also has powers like telekinesis, a shield and the abilty to crush enemies but you only use them for combat and to kill a single enemy you need to consume your entire psycho bar to chuck shit at them, not really fun or interesting compared to a shotgun blast to the face.
