>>740492478Usually yes, though in recent years Koei-Tecmo have lost faith in the brand and have tried to Americanize it by chasing social justice trends (which for DOA is just absurd), and implementing things from other series, most notably Mortal Kombat, to make the series more gritty and brutal to align with the US preference for extreme violence over sex (see Core Values fiasco of cutting from booth babes making boob jokes to a commercial for Mortal Kombat with Sonya getting her head ripped off). I miss her being cute plucky tomboy, in over her head in her adventures, bit of a spoiled brat, but very smart, fast learner, resilient, too pure of heart to wield the soul edge, starts to crush on the guy her dad wants to adopt, starting to grow up in her own way.then fuck her face up so she isn't cute anymore, strip more of her clothes off and make her the older sister/oneechan to some lame version of her older love interest... it was a real let down.
