I started Princess Peach: Showtime! two days ago and I genuinely can't believe this game exists. How did they possibly manage to make a game that sees Super Princess Peach being great, throws the baby out with the bathwater, and decides The Legendary Starfy and Kirby's Epic Yarn are just way too difficult to play? These devs made Bakeru, I don't get it. It's so incredibly boring half the time. The best parts were Swordfighter and Hero but since each costume only has three stages you immediately run out of Swordfighter stages.I paid $30 and that feels $20 too high for what this is and they wanted $60 at launch? Even kids would be bored out of their mind. They have a boss that is basically 1:1 Scarecrow from Arkham and you can just run out in the open for the entire boss battle and nothing will happen to you because there's cover every two feet to reset you being seen by the boss so it never attacks. 30 FPS for a game that looks like this is also insane to me because it's visually a Wii game.The more I play it the more I feel like this entire game only exists for some future Mario musou game or Smash to have new moves.

I'm kind of hoping for Star Fox multiplayer to be fun and interesting. I remember 64's multiplayer was tacked on but you could play Landmaster and on-foot if you got medals on Venom in normal and hard mode respectively. Apparently the maneuvering has been improved from base 64.

>>740566383Look for coins in the overworld. Don't be afraid to replay battles to get better ranks for more skill points. Also upgrade skills that make sense for your units. You can have Mario deal damage with both gun and hammer. Luigi is a sniper that should keep distance with drones and rifles. The rabids are more tanky but their advantage is movement. Also don't under estimate tackle damage and stomp damage. Just make sure you have cover or HP if you're out in the open. Pipes also extend movement.

This weekend I played DK Bananza and DQVIIR in pretty much equal measure, along with shorter bursts of FFVIIR (demo), and SMRPG remake to check out handheld boost mode. (Wow! It finally runs as well as it did on my emulator three years ago!) Good times were had.
