The problem is that she looks like she smokes crack and they got rid of her off brand Star Fox look to show that she's a merc and instead she looks like shes got a mechanic suit on. I can imagine them being worried that she was apping Han Solo's look too much and that Nintendo were going to get in trouble from Disney if they didn't change the design.
