You do not need a Switch 2. There's only three must play games so far. I got one because I wanted one. Though if I didn't get one at launch I'd probably skip it until next year.

i've been having a blast
I just bought one last month. Mario Kart World and Kirby Air Riders are both terrific. I haven't played the new DK or Mario Tennis but I'll buy them soon. Also probably get Persona 3R and Street Fighter 6. I feel like it's been a bit dead but the games that we have gotten are all top tier. It pisses me off in general that dev cycles are stupid long. At least with Nintendo you get almost guaranteed quality with first party titles

The screen is nice looking, despite not being OLED, it's larger size is far more comfortable, it's wild seeing modern day-a-date titles running on this little thing.
I got a good deal on one last week but I haven't really used it for much yet.Tomodachi life seems to run a lot better on it, so it was probably worth getting for all the switch games I haven't played yet.

My friend bought me DK and Kirby but I got bored of it around the world with the puzzle piece people and we played Kirby for a night and never touched it again. I got Metroid Prime 4 to see if it was really that bad (it was) and after two hours I went back to replay Prime 1. For the record, Miles (or whatever the NPCs name is) isn't nearly as much of a problem as the linear routes and repetition problems. God damn, Prime 4 fucking sucked. My most played game is Mario Picross online.
