I don't usually care about female leads being hot. Stellar Blade was the only game where that was important to me because the entire selling point is being a soft porn game. Now they're forcing an ugly tomboy protagonist because it really riles people into doing a culture war that is essentially free marketing for the game. It is so tiresome.

I know some people, and they are very fine people, who think that games should be able to have some gameplay in it for them to be considered good games. And I also know that some people, very nice and equitable people, that want to see attractive characters in their games. And this is a controversial opinion these days! Young men will look at a terrible game and he'll say "Oh it's terrible!" and then the slant-eyed gook-niggers, many of which do not send their best they send gooners and they send coomers, they'll put a big-titted anime lady in it and then suddenly it's a good game. "It's a great game, it's the best", but folks they aren't sending their best, theyre really not because this goes beyond eye candy folks-- where is the gameplay? let me see the gameplay, what's IN the gameplay? let me see the characters, what's the character wearing? what is she saying? what is she doing? We shouldn't have to settle for shitty gameplay or shitty looks, we can have both folks.
