You could see them faltering, but the old company was still there. Look to 2012, 2013, 2014, old Sega is already dead and gone. A few games that just barely manage to be decent despite limitations, a few licensed projects handed out to actually talented developers, but the core teams are largely whipped and denied resources, creativity, expression and freedom. It's disgusting.
