Just beat this and i want a thread, this is my first Trails game too.>+:-Combat is good although crits are op-the ost is an absolute banger>-:-The story is very uwu and predictable, then again it's mostly the first part of a grand story, i wish the otome shit is toned down in the sequel and Estelle steps up as a protagonist now that Sasuke won't be around to carry her ass 24/7.-Dungeons are essentially hollow: no puzzles, no platforming, you can dodge mobs without engaging them at all, you only ever have to fight optional bosses and story bosses.I guess i'll play the second when it comes out but i'm also not hyped.As i said combat was good but Falcom games keep failing to balance harder difficulty modes: early game is pure dark souls, midgame onwards It's easy.It's a timid 7, i wasn't bored but goddamn, i took points out because of the theater play scene, holy shit wtf was that.
Oh and uh Ys is still easily the better Falcom series so far.Going from YsX's gameplay flow to this was..wow.

It's like 5 hours.
Hopefully the success of the remakes is funding a better and fitting conclusion for the Calvard arc and not another rushed game it isn't
