Tifa, Aerith, and Yuffie having a choreographed dance routine is already ridiculous enough, but what really ruins the immersion for me is how the world revolves entirely around the party. The Gold Saucer doesn't feel like a living, breathing casino; it feels like a stage waiting for the main characters to step onto it.Have you ever walked into a casino and had a massive grand entrance show triggered just for you? Of course not. People are constantly arriving and leaving a place like this. If this is the standard welcome, shouldn't it be happening around the clock? If the party walks out and comes back five minutes later, shouldn't they get the same welcome? Instead, the NPCs act like they know they’re in a video game, holding the curtain until the player arrives to trigger the spectacle.

You could easily make a goofy, comedic parody of the original and still end up with a masterpiece. The problem here is quality. Taken on their own terms, these scenes just fail. They feel forced, painfully unfunny, and way too drawn out, often dragging a mediocre joke out to the point of exhaustion. And the character writing suffers from an identity crisis, constantly whiplashing between edgelord melodrama and over-the-top theatrical clowns acting out just for the sake of visual spectacle.

Plus, at least red had a reason to do it, to get to play Queen's blood. There's something endearing on seeing an animal, not a human, so fixated on playing queen's blood that he mounts an spectacle to do so. Reminds me of Ratatouille and how a rat obsessed with cooking, a human activity.It is the reason why Red will be the protagonist of the Revelation Queen's blood story line.

Its impressive how bad the demake really is. Every character has been butchered. The voice acting and dialogue just sucks. Its not even that its massively cringe to listen to but it even seems like the conversations just do not flow naturally as they should. Like you got a bunch of cringe autists that don't know how to properly communicate like human beings. And there is a sort of odd homoeroticism between Cloud and Sephiroth going on for some reason. The game almost seems like a parody demake of sorts. As if someone that hates Final Fantasy wanted to butcher the original but do it in a way that isn't so obvious as to be a blatant insult to the original fans. The cheese factor is dialed up to 11 and that is how it seems the demake went about butchering the original. I am baffled this demake trilogy actually has any real fan support. Even if you didn't play the original a lot of this shit is just comically bad.
