What is a game you are bad at but you still play regularly?

I'll start I'm fucking dogshit at Tarkov. 800 hours and .19 K/D but I play it daily.

Factorio. I'm a retard who makes barely working spaghetti and still haven't beaten Space Age, but I love it all the same.
I'm so close to getting to Aquilo now though.

>800hrs in one game
How are people clocking this much playtime on a single game? I have trouble completing games that are 35hrs long and there are guys out there playing the same game with the same mechanics, the same map, doing the same thing over and over again for 1k+ hrs.
OP 800hrs you could have gotten a killer physique, got giga jacked with the athletic performance to back it up, you could have learned a useful or not so useful skill

Counterpoint: I have leveled every class in Diablo 3 to the cap multiple times each instead. Good day

thousands upon thousands of hours since 2001, hard stuck in gold 2/3.

I know a guy who somehow got 1000 hours in Balders Gate 3. That's nuts, at least I could understand someone getting that in Terraria or Factorio because those are mainly games about autistically making shit, but an RPG?

That's because you're a zoomer with a miniscule attention span. You've never really enjoyed anything and are always getting bored of things and moving on. I blame parents raising their kids on youtube and tick tok, it's utterly fried their brains.

I haven't played a videogame since 2019

I got 200 hours in Hell Let Loose but as I'm getting older my reaction time is turned to shit. I still do alright as a tank crew though

I've seen many people in my friends list with 2000 hours or more in Counter Strike and TF2, it's not rare.

Geuine question, why dont you play sp tarkov with scp ai? most people hack on tarkov.
>>
>why dont you play sp tarkov with scp ai
Op is 10x better even as a borderline retard with .19 K/D than any Ai mod.
Can't believe I got memed into ever playing SPT.
If most people cheated having a K/D above 2 would not be possible
>>
>>740652238
you are literally an NPC
how can you be this bad after that many hours, dont you pick up anything when playing? did you just run with your mouth open, die and repeat for 800 hours?
>>
Marathon I have decent hours but I just fucking die over and over and over and all my teammates are fucking down syndrome beaners, every single one has sounded like a sickanimation character, i should really just turn crossplay off

Elden Ring and Souls games in general. I beat them all eventually, but I die all the time and I have no real strategy against the bosses. I just go up to their faces, attack and hope for the best.

I have almost 3600 hours in Troubleshooter, but other than knowing some cheeses for infamous maps my gameplay is terrible and my builds mostly suck.
Fire Emblem games are in a similar state, where I'm barely able to scrape through them on Normal despite having 10+ clears on everything between FE7 and Conquest.
Etrian Odyssey games are also something I have a hard time with despite an ungodly amount of playthroughs in all of the 3ds ones.

I've been playing World of Tanks: Heat for the last week and slowly I'm getting better at it. It's pretty fun even when losing so it's not so bad.

I genuinely question myself some times when playing a game if I'm bad at it or if the game is just badly designed. Elden Ring for example. Yes you CAN do things like buff yourself, use upgrades, and whatever. But it doesn't really confront the real problems the game has with enemies/bosses. Bosses do anime moves with no openings, flying across the screen doing multihits. Bog standard "soldier" enemies are insanely aggressive and have infinite stamina and can always attack over and over and over, or have annoying spam moves/homing 'missile' magic, etc.

There's a difference between the player being bad at the game, and the game being badly (or purposefully) designed to frustrate and annoy you. Someone playing an FPS game and not getting very many kills might be bad at the game, but could improve and do better. The game being badly designed means that no matter how good (or bad) you are at the game, the frustrations/annoyances/etc don't disappear and are arguably only highlighted. Forcing you to cheese the game or play in a way that isn't intuitive just so you can move on
