>>740655075I definitely remembered it when I came back I remember all the times I got trolled there when I was retarded at the game.Having beaten the whole game in hard mode desolation was both incredibly annoying and incredibly easy. From what I recall things started getting significantly less shit whenever the group ate (during the worm segment) corpses for the gimmick abilities (especially the projectiles). The blinding skill was the most annoying to use since it required melee range and some manual positioning. I didn't even bother with the holy weapon cheese, it would've made things easier I just didn't want to micro that hard. Those dickhead paragons spamming res skills were peak ragebait, they were the one thing kid me remembered trying to kill and even that one souped-up paragon boss was something I had to chip away at before I remembered frozen soil exists. The worms were great if you were absolutely suffering from death penalty because they were immune to the effects but because of the gimmick it was some of the least survivable so it was also incredibly easy to end up with a shitload of death penalty, so I ended up peeling DP off at normal mobs while tackling worm sections at 0%.My biggest highs and lows were in winds of change by far. A lot of those quests practically required exploiting to get done. The final mesmer bitch was a really good victory lap after that agonizing bit where you had to defend Shing Jea Monastery.I did all of that without consumables because I'm a cheap jew, and while it probably would have made some of the pain point missions easier I really didn't feel like using items that felt like cheating.GW reforged sounds cool and I'm happy new players get to play it, I just don't have any good reason to come back after all that, but it is fun to reminisce. I could get GWAMM but I'm not autistic enough to grind money for alcohol, sweets and fireworks or spam those locked chests outside of EotN's start. It's not fun so I didn't do it.
