And none of these screenshots can capture the desert bike sections. The game requires nearly an hour of collecting "Green Crystals" (that is what they are called in game) in the desert to just proceed to the final section of the map; even longer if you want to go for 200% collection and get the last suit upgrade. And that's if you've already been fairly diligent, but not thorough, picking them up on the previous times the game required you to go through the desert. The desert is almost entirely empty, with only about 9 total points of interest/collectables.
Isn't the whole point of Metroid and the Prime series especially isolation? Why did they pair you up with a b7nch of needs at all times
