I just found out my monitor is actually 75 hz and not 60 like it says on the box

Is 75 hz worth it for gaming over 60?

Any additional refresh rate is good. That said, you might not notice the difference with change that small.

as the other anon said, too small of a notice, 60fps is what I lock modern games into for a stable frame rate.

yes. 72hz is a sweet spot for the human eye its when ghosting starts to disappear.
try your 75hz froggu you'll be impressed

Yes, the 15hz might seem small but it's 1/4 of your current refresh rate (60hz). 60 -> 75 is 25% smoother motion.
