I want to be excited but I just fucking know they aren't going to touch the base game at allAt least steal the randomizer mod and make it on by default, I at least want Cyclops to spawn in different locations while I'm running around. The game also desperately needs some sort of higher difficulty, the combat feels good but you roll everything so readily by the midgame that you barely need to think about it. I also know they're no chance that they unfuck the armor layering system and return it to what it was in DD1, which still kills a lot of my drive to make pawns. That said, I remain optimistic since it's technically possible for someone to come in and right the ship now that it seems like Capcom isn't leaving the franchise to rot anymore
