Nintendo platforms are seen as first-party devices and exclusive-oriented so when they don't show either of those people tune out because the ports are always going to be pared down, worse visually and sometimes in other ways, potentially lacking content, or more. Now you have GKCs tacked onto it as another negative. Nintendo also typically gets ports years after the fact so they're not even interesting and just waste time.It's why you regularly have people asking why you would buy third-party ports on the Switch and now the Switch 2 as an example, and no, those people are not asking it for the sake of shitposting.
