MoM's entire backstory is tied to KHUX and he outright explains it to Luxu. He can technically do the same to Sora but you would then need to explain Darkness, context of the original Keyblade War MoM was part of from that discussion, and more.Another big issue is that nothing will have any payoff for anyone who hasn't played KHUX. All of it was set up in KHUX and they'd have to give Sora a reason to care for it on top of the original reason for anyone to care.
