>>
>>740754198
/v/ can do better than that. You can all get at least awesome rank licenses within a week. I know you can.

Back in 8th grade 2000 to 2001 I knew this kid Zach with red curly afro who had the deepest voice for a kid and he would quote this guy from Crazy Taxi every fucking day. I asked him one day why he's so obsessed with the game since literally no one understood where it was coming from, and he got quiet and brushed it off like it was nothing but he never again quoted the game in school. I think he thought he had some weird quirky thing that no one actually understood and he was using to stand out and once I caught on he felt spotted and uncool.

Anyways YOU HAVE 10 CRAZY MINUTES
>>

Should I get the Gamecube version or the Dreamcast version?

GC release is easier to find.
>>

@grok is this crazy
>>
>>740756556
but is it BETTER?
>>
ok
>>
>>740756646
DC have some slowdowns due slower hardware than Naomi, also different VAs.

Besides this game is more or less same, for PS and GC ports albeit latter fix slowdowns and have sightly better draw distance.
>>
>>740754640
Because it was fun. No video game since then has achieved the same level of replayability.
>>
>>740754073
why are Crazy Taxi 2 and 3 still locked on shit consoles? when are they gonna come out for everyone?
>>
>>740756918
They made one big fat fun level.
Why don't they just make more big fat fun levels??
>>
>>740756779
>also different VAs.
for crazy taxi 1? you sure?
>>
>>740757054
There's no money to be made :(
>>
>>740757084
NTA but their lines do sound different (at least between the DC and PS2 versions). different VAs or possibly different takes on the lines
>>
>>740755695
When is CrazyTaxiDrama gonna drop the bomb about Gena's OnlyCabs account
>>
>>740757227
oh you meant between the console versions. yeah DC re-uses the arcade but ps2/gc have different VAs if i recall. gena is probably most notable, gus too
>>
>>740756646
GC version is easier and has shittier voice lines. I prefer DC because the triggers feel better for slamming the gas to boost. Way better rumble too.

Emulate the Dreamcast version? Or PS2?
1 or 2? What about the PSP version?

Nigga it's fucking Crazy Taxi, not Ar Tonelico
Play 1 on Dreamcast, then 2 on Dreamcast, then if you can get it, that xbox one

Thanks my Fren. I never had a DC.

>Why don't they just make more big fat fun levels??
They did. People didn't like it as much for a variety of reasons.
>>
>>740764587
There's a hack for PSP version that gets you the original soundtracks, at which point it's all about if you want 30 FPS but 2 games plus home port challenges in one place, or you prefer emulating the two games separately for DC to get 60 FPS and a higher native res. If you stick to DC, then Flycast for Retroarch, though Redream as a standalone emulator is also good.
>>
>>740764698
I don't use meme emulators, I use the CHAD Flycast

i don't like score attack games. they're stressful and more importantly there's no end goal or a way to win so your efforts are for nothing, you can only lose no matter how good you get. it's the same with CoD zombies and stuff.

>>
>>740754640
The map is big enough that different things can happen every time you play depending on how you want to play it. If you just pick up the same passengers all the time then it'll get repetitive, but if you deliberately seek out different ones or take risks that affect which ones are optimal to go for, then different things will happen.
