christ I remember their actual marketing bullshit about how their custom SSD controller would "eliminate loading screens", with Rift Apart being the marquee game for this feature. It was so fucking obvious that the loading screens were just being disguised when switching between realities, the game arbitrarily stretched the animation/effects out longer while it streamed the data in the background and gameplay would continue once completed. That's loading, they just hid it from players.What an absolute farce.
