bought a 12gb retroid pocket 6 earlier in the year and got it in aprilI've honestly been playing a lot of pc games on it since it's so novel. streets of rage 4, vampire survivors, balatro, dariusburst, baba is you. the only emulated game I've really played on it for more than just a bit of testing is digital devil saga. I still haven't bothered to set up all the emulators and retroarchyeah, fairly. I need to get a grip for it since it gets uncomfortable after a bit, and if I'm sitting down on the couch to play an rpg I want it to be comfortable for more than 20 minutes. for portability it's just small enough that it fits in pants pockets, but it's large enough to not be particularly comfortable. still, I've brought it with me when I know I'll be sitting around doing nothing for 30-60 minutes, and it's been amazing for that. I did have an issue with it crashing at first, but customer support had me reflash android and so far it's been almost 2 months without another crash. I'm still worried I got some subpar hardware due to the ram shit thoughI don't really fucking care at this point, and it's not like I'm doing anything important on a gaming handheld
I have a RG35XX (pic related) and a Miyoo Mini Plus and have been enjoying both so far. I prefer the features of the Miyoo Mini (wifi, better OS options, etc) but I prefer the size of the RG. Was thinking about getting a RG35XXH but with all the RAM downgrades I might not bother.

I have a miyoo, it's pretty good, can play up to ps1 games without issue.I only really bring it or use it if I'm going somewhere where I'm going to be bored for >15 min:dmv, doctor/dentist, etc.I have a gaming laptop and am not poor enough to take public transit so it's usefulness is limited, but my steamdeck has been collecting dust since the month I bought it so it's better than that bullshit.

Anbernic screwed up with their chip choice, Powkiddy tapped out, Ayn (their sister company) shares their buttons but they make pricier stuff. They got the best chip selection, the best android builds (along with ayn), the best buttons, best build quality, but still nearly every other release of theirs chinks you hardcore in some way.
