Not quite, at least not me. I just want stuff akin to PS1 JRPG games. 3D anime stylized art over pre rendered backgrounds, overworld and ATB party combat/ turn combat. This seems like a step on the right direction but it´s not quite what i want just yet. E33, Bravely Default, Star Ocean second story R and Ni no kuni wrath of the white witch still seem like the closest modern equivalents albeit none look as good as FF IX or Saga Frontier 2. This and Octopath look more like FF VI, which as i said, is a good thing in an on itself (not sure about the resonance stuff though). Art design seems a bit on the weak side too...
