Primarily if it's not a guaranteed seller like Pokmon, Mario, and stuff like that. So it becomes "listen to these streamers and popular gaming people complaining and making hour long compilations that get hundreds of thousands of views or even millions" or "do risk wasting millions and millions of dollars of investment and our game failing because we didn't appease them".Yes, it's SE's fault for bending, but they wouldn't bend if they didn't feel they needed to from the gaming community.
