I've always kinda hated the very ending of FF7. Its a bit edgy. All that struggle, all that fighting and humanity died out any fucking way. I remember being like "dude fuck this" when Holy and meteor popped, the bright flash. .It heavily implied everyone fucking died in an explosion. Then at least after the credits you saw Red XIII so you know the party survived the immediate blast. But then they make it clear that for some reason, there's no humanity left after 500 years.
