Why does this board hate gacha games so much?
gacha games = farming daily log ins or paying huge amounts of cashif you get left behind in these games it makes you want to burn it all down I only play one gacha currently but people hating them is completely understandable

I feel like gacha proliferated as a replacement for f2p MMOs for a lot of people.There's a constant update cycle, a low effort social element, in-game monetization that doesn't charge up front, and a large community for any popular one.
