I don't think it's the intention the writers had, but it's fun to indulge in the idea for fap material, so long as you don't pretend it's actual canon.
Intense friendships can come across as romantic if you go out of your way to look at them as such, after all. Chie and Yukiko speak for themselves, and girls are more likely to swing both ways to begin with.
Yosuke, though, gets really questionable once you factor in the cut romance route. The Kanji jokes take on an extra layer, all of sudden Hell, even without any of that, I can't blame people for raising an eyebrow at his Social Link.
I found myself as the Yosuke to another guy's Narukami two years ago. It was scarily on point.
