I mean, that is deliberate and you're supposed to sweat your balls off once you understand the full significance of what you are doing while the music plays, but the starting section is intentionally super low key to contrast against the rest of the game

This is exactly the kind of game that should be ported to the Switch 2. It feels "off Nintendo" in a very good way, like a fan project made by people who are legitimately talented enough to actually capture the good qualities of Zelda, but in an actually wholly original and high quality way that resembles nothing else too specifically and isn't just cheaply ripping off anything else.

I think I'm mostly finished exploring Brittle Hollow and Giant's Deep, so now I have to explore the hourglass twins, Dark Bramble, and also find the quantum moon (with the sixth location(?))

I landed on the desert twin earlier and it seems like a pain in the ass to traverse within 20 minutes but I'm nothing if not persistent.
